Contemporary full red sheep binding signed Rivage. Smooth spine decorated with a long composition of floral tools and rocaille ornaments. Boards stamped in blind with a large ornamental panel featuring foliage scrolls, birds, and mask, with a plain central piece; gilt and blind frames. Edges gilt. Rich interior border. Some rubbing. Dedication inserted in error by the binder in the introduction, without consequence.
