Edition illustrated with copper-engraved drawings by Jean-Gabriel Daragnès, one of 200 numbered copies on Arches, the only issue after 25 on Japan paper.
Full fawn morocco binding, smooth spine, boards adorned with a design of undulating gilt and silver fillets forming a large spiral, embellished with onlaid black morocco pieces and additional gilt and silver fillets depicting small waves; black suede endpapers and doublures, bordered by five gilt fillets and a repetition of the cover design on the doublures, subsequent marbled endpapers, original wrappers preserved, chemise edged in fawn morocco with black paper sides. A superb Art Deco period binding by Pierre Legrain.
