    New edition of Tacitus's works in Latin and reprint of the 1760 edition, illustrated with three frontispieces by Ch. Eisen engraved by L. Lempereur, as well as three vignettes engraved on the title pages. This edition forms part of the collection of Latin authors published by Barbou, who had made it his specialty.
    Contemporary full blonde calf bindings. Smooth spines decorated with compartments featuring floral motifs and numerals, as well as black morocco title and volume labels.
