    Rare first edition of this set of 50 anthropomorphic full-page, colour illustrations.
    Publisher's illustrated boards in full red glazed calico, blank spine, first board decorated with a large colour drawing, second board framed with triple fillets as well as a blind tooled central typographical fleuron. Some small, minor scratches on the first board, some signs of folding and two small marginal tears without any sections missing on the first blue endpaper and the half-title.
