Superb invitation poster-card for the 1930 edition of the Bal des Quat'Z'Arts, still bearing its stub in the lower section. Very fine color illustration by Yves Brayer and O. Rabaud depicting a menacing Aragonese knight being charmed by an oriental dancer.
The theme of the famous fine arts students' ball, which took place on June 21 at the Porte de Versailles, was the capture of Granada by the Aragonese knights - on the invitation, one can read the following text: "Le sultan Abou-Abdillah se fait vider de Grenade par les bandes d'Aragon, ainsi que la chose s'est très véridiquement passée en 1492.
