Autograph letter signed by Léo Larguier addressed to Carlo Rim, 14 lines written in black ink, congratulating him on a recent newspaper article he devoted to the Stavisky affair.
Fold marks inherent to posting, a tear in the left margin of the letter at the fold level.
"Mon bon ami. Je viens de lire dans Vu votre article. Stavisky et je veux vous dire combien il m'a touché. C'est très fort ces raccourcis, ces ellipses cruelles, et c'est un art inouï si ce n'est pas naturel. Dans l'un ou l'autre cas, vous êtes un écrivain que j'avais deviné et je m'y connais un peu, vous savez. J'ai voulu vous le dire. Vous pouvez ficher ma lettre au feu. Hommages...
