    Wide-margined copy, boards and spine lightly and marginally sunned, a few scattered foxmarks affecting some leaves and deckle edges.

    Full chocolate-brown morocco binding, spine with five raised bands framed by blind fillets, date gilt at foot, gilt rolls on the caps, gilt-stamped allegorical figure as ex-libris on the covers, double gilt fillets along the edges, marbled paper endpapers and doublures, gilt sextuple fillet border on the doublures, original wrappers and spine preserved, top edge gilt, an immaculate contemporary binding signed Canape.
    Spine very slightly faded, without significance.
    A fine and rare copy, entirely uncut, handsomely bound in full...
