Tiny foxing, not serious, to head of spine and some leaves, otherwise a good copy.

First edition on ordinary paper, with only 45 Japan copies on deluxe paper.
Bradel binding in blue half-cloth, smooth spine very slightly faded decorated with a gilt floral motif, gilt fillet at foot, chocolate shagreen title-label with minor traces of rubbing, marbled paper boards, covers (with three small marginal tears repaired) preserved, contemporary binding.
