Original manuscript of a work published in 1674 under the same title, by Pierre de Bats, in Paris. The text, in a state certainly prior to publication, presents many variants from the edition which contains additions and stylistic variations. The manuscript therefore presents a state that precedes publication; the copy established around 1800 is clean and without erasures, in fine and legible handwriting in black ink.
