Rare first edition of the Décadent's concert program held from 27 April to 3 May 1894 at 16 bis Rue Fontaine, in Paris.
On the reverse there is an elegant and humorous blue lithographed poster promoting Carpentier's “lively shadows.”
The leaflet has significant foxing, its lower left corner is cut, there are superficial sections of paper missing and the remains of some adhesive paper in the margin of the program.
Successor of the Café des Incohérents created by Jules Lévy, writer, actor and ex-Hydropath, the musical and artistic café on Rue Fontaine is renamed “concert des Décadents” in 1893, and placed under the artistic direction of chansonnier Jules Jouy and the signer Marguerite Dufay. Performers included, among others, Marcel Legay, Paul Delmet, Armand Masson, Georges Tiercy, et Paul Daubry.

Extremely rare first edition of the fourth issue of the humorous journal entitled Jonas : petit observateur des lettres et des arts, which ran for 5 issues between January and July 1952.
Two vertical creases and a stain on the first cover.
The review was directed and probably composed largely by François Caradec, writer regent of the Collège de Pataphysique and member of the Oulipo.

L'Omnibus de Corinthe (subtitled "illustrated vehicle of general ideas") is an illustrated supplement to the review La Critique created by the Nabi painter Marc Mouclier. In total, twelve fascicles executed in lithographic pencil and printed in zincography by Eugène de Solenière were published every three months starting from October 1896. They are today extremely rare and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France - which possesses a complete collection on Japan paper - has digitized only half of them in very poor resolution. The enigmatic title of this publication draws from a Greco-Latin proverb "Non licet omnibus adire Corinthum" (It is not permitted for everyone to enter Corinth) and each issue is a "journey" inviting the reader to board this eccentric vehicle. The illustrations are principally by Edmond Couturier, Ibels, Henri Gustave Jossot, Marc Mouclier and Louis Valtat - the texts are the work of Willy, Georges Bans, Alcanter de Brahm, Charles Fuinel, Émile Straus (under the pseudonyms of Papyrus and Martine), Jean de Caldain and Marc Mouclier.

Raymond Duncan, brother of the famous dancer Isadora Duncan, installed in 1911 in Paris an academy on the model of Plato, dressing and living according to the precepts of ancient Greece. He exposed his "actionist" philosophy in newspapers and articles he printed himself.
