The collection of new jurisprudence decisions by Denisart continued until it filled 9 quarto volumes, thus becoming a true dictionary of jurisprudence, a work very useful to the profession. Having died at the age of 51, Denisart left an unfinished work. Master Varicourt, friend of Denisart, took charge of correcting the great work and provided this supplement which came to complete the previous editions.
