Half chocolate sheep bindings with small vellum-like paper corners, smooth spines decorated with gilt fleurons and friezes, one headcap lacking at top, marbled paper boards with some scuffing, two upper corners slightly bumped, contemporary bindings.
The first volume is complete with its 2 engravings including one as frontispiece; the second volume is complete with the plan of "la maison bancal", however the 9 out-of-text portraits are lacking from the second and third volumes.
Rare gathering of these three texts relating to this famous trial which became a political confrontation between royalists and Bonapartists.
Some light foxing, a small lack at head of page 227 of the second volume not touching the text, one page preceding the introduction of the second volume has been torn out.
