Half chocolate brown shagreen binding with corners, spine with five raised bands set with gilt dots decorated with richly ornamented double gilt compartments, place and date gilt at foot, gilt fillets framing the marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, top edge gilt.
Bookplate pasted at head of one pastedown.
Some minor foxing of no consequence.
