Autograph letter, 7 lines in purple ink on a leaf, signed by Lugné-Poe addressed from his Parisian home to his friend Carlo Rim in his telegraphic and laconic style: Fold marks inherent to mailing. "May 20, 1935 Very sincerely my dear comrade, I saw last night, on Radio Luxembourg, praise given to the quite superior dialogue of Justin de Marseille - of the film as well, for that matter - Your faithful, LugnePoe." Provenance: from the Carlo Rim collection, who was a Provençal writer, author notably of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
