Binding half navy blue shagreen, back with four nerves set with golden dots and decorated with double gilded boxes decorated with golden jewels of angles, navy blue cardboard boards with very slight scratches, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, two corners very lightly used, contemporary binding.
Our copy is enriched by an autograph letter signed and dated by Eugène Scribe, mounted on tab, which also signed Perfect for Christmas, letterhead of the "Commision playwrights and composers", in which it refused a request grant.
