Bound in full red shagreen, back with four nerves set with gold and dotted with a gold cartridge decorated with golden arabesques, golden tail date a tiny scratch on the top cap, traces of frottemente on the joints, on golden wheels caps, guards and contreplats blue watered silk, framing a golden lace on contreplats, gilded geometric patterns on the cuts, wrappers and back preserved and bound in, gilded head on witnesses, contemporary binding signed Thiebaut.
Our copy is enriched by an autograph note signed and dated by José Maria de Heredia sent to bookbinder Paul Vié setting him an appointment the next day to come help clean his library.
