Half green morocco binding with corners, spine faded and sunned with four raised bands, bands set with black fillets, combed paper boards, endpapers and pastedowns, top edge gilt, original wrappers and spine preserved, upper corners slightly bumped, binding signed by Lucie Weill.
Autograph inscription signed by Georges Fourest to the Provençal writer, caricaturist and filmmaker Carlo Rim who was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of André Salmon and Max Jacob: "A Carlo Rime hommage de l'auteur Georges Fourest" ["To Carlo Rime tribute from the author Georges Fourest"] enriched with an autograph inscription signed by José Corti who added the word sic to underline the mistake made by Georges Fourest in the dedicatee's surname."
