An illustrated edition of Valentin Le Campion's original cuffs and headbands, one of the numbered copies on Marais, the only edition after 20 "pur-fil" papers. Binding half blue shagreen with stripes, smooth back decorated with a piece of red mosaic shagreen depicting a cross of Lorraine repeated in the center of the first board, vellum cardboard central strip on the boards, guards and contreplats of navy blue paper, blankets and back preserved, gilded head, case bordered with navy shagreen, boards of marbled paper, inside of paper to the tank. Some small friction on the case. Handwritten thought dated and signed by Charles De Gaulle on the page of fake title: "C. De Gaulle who knows what the following pages will have been worth! In any case, it is to serve, that they have been 4/11/48. " Pleasant copy set in a binding "Gaulienne".
