Contemporary full aubergine calf binding, smooth spine richly decorated with gilt rococo tools, triple gilt fillet and cold-stamped dentelle framing the boards, small fleurons in the corners, large cold-stamped central panel featuring a rosette surrounded by rococo motifs on both boards, wide gilt roll framing the pastedowns, marbled paper pastedowns and endpapers, gilt roll on the leading edges and headcaps, some traces of rubbing, all edges gilt, contemporary binding.
