Half dark green shagreen binding with corners, sunned spine with five raised bands set with black fillets, one scratch at foot, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, top edge gilt on deckled edges, contemporary unsigned binding but attributable to Lancelin.
Signed autograph inscription from the author to Madame Paul Ollendorff.
Full-margined copy handsomely bound.
