First edition printed on ordinary paper, with no mention of deluxe copies.
Half-shagreen binding in black, spine with five raised bands decorated with gilt floral motifs, boards slightly and marginally lightened, marbled paper boards, endpapers and pastedowns of combed paper, stained covers preserved, speckled edges, contemporary binding.
Autograph inscription dated and signed by Jean Lorrain to the writer and playwright Georges Grisier: "... qui aime mieux les pièces à femmes..." (who prefers plays with women...)
