Full brown cloth Bradel binding, smooth spine, gilt date at foot, covers and spine preserved, bookplates pasted on one pastedown, contemporary binding signed in blind by Stroobants.
Two light dampstains to upper right corner of first cover and upper left corner of second cover.
Autograph inscription dated Brussels 1934 and signed by Paul Claudel to Gérard Bauër.
