Original edition of the first book of Cendrars, printed in 150 copies on Holland. T'Serstevens copy bearing his signature. Bibliographical note in pencil on the front page: "[...] Sonia Delaunay told him that sequences, Easter in New York and the Trans-Siberian were published by Blaise Cendrars at its expense, with a small inheritance. The seat indicated - New Editions Men - 4, rue de Savoie, was indeed the small attic room C. Blaise occupied at that time ... " Also enclosed is a very interesting autograph letter signed t'Serstevens to Blaise Cendrars "By storing the books, I found my copy of yoursequencesand by consulting thefullvolume of your poetry, I see thatfootageis not there . Why? You had, I think, have any reason for not having included a whole, but what reason? I am very interested ...
