First edition, one of the copies of first issue numbered in the press and sprécialement drawn to the author. Binding to bradel half green calico with corners, slightly faded back smoothes decorated arms of the Duchess of Clermont-Tonnerre, two crossed keys, and a golden tail date, title of piece of brown shagreen, gray paper boards , guards and contreplats of handmade paper, contemporary binding signed by G. Schroeder. Signed autograph Maurice Barres to the Duchesse de Clermont-Tonnerre. Provenance: from the library Elisabeth de Clermont-Tonnerre with his bookplate pasted on a contreplat and golden arms in the rear back.
