Bound in full glazed bronze calf, spine with four raised bands set with gilt grecques decorated with gilt fillets as well as cold-stamped typographical motifs, gilt friezes at head and foot, gilt roulettes on headcaps, joints very lightly rubbed without significance, frame of gilt fillet with gilt dots in corners and cold-tooled dentelle on boards struck in their centers with a cold-stamped mandorla, some light surface scuffs at head of boards, gilt edges on leading edges which show some small nicks, frame of gilt dentelle on endpapers, marbled edges, elegant Romantic binding.
