Full black cloth binding, smooth spine decorated with gilt arabesques, one joint cracked at foot, sextuple blind-stamped fillet framing the boards, title and vignette depicting an allegory of victory accompanied by a cherub stamped in gilt at the center of the front board, corners very slightly bumped, yellow paper pastedowns and endpapers, publisher's binding.
