Full brown speckled paper boards binding, late 18th or early 19th century. « Cet ouvrage a été attribué à Crébillon fils, dont on retrouve l'anagramme dans le nom du prétendu voyageur », Quérard II, 454. but it was attributed to him in error, Crébillon being the author of the amours de Zéonizikul, roi des Kofirans, satire of the relations between Louis XV and Mme de Pompadour, this sequel was in fact written by M de la Baumelle (1726-1773 Laurent Angliviel de la) Barbier I, 305.

The dialogues appeared anonymously between 1688 and 1691. The pasquinades are satirical dialogues between two harlequin-like characters, Pasquin and Marsorio. It is Pasquin who leads the subject, his sidekick asking questions. The whole is treated with all the desired lightness
