« Cet ouvrage a été attribué à Crébillon fils, dont on retrouve l'anagramme dans le nom du prétendu voyageur », Quérard II, 454. but it was attributed to him in error, Crébillon being the author of the amours de Zéonizikul, roi des Kofirans, satire of the relations between Louis XV and Mme de Pompadour, this sequel was in fact written by M de la Baumelle (1726-1773 Laurent Angliviel de la)
