First edition. Bindings in red half morocco, back with five nerves slightly burnished and with scratches, marbled paper plates, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, wrappers preserved and bound in for the first two volumes, gilded heads. Ex-donos at the pen of a previous owner of the book on the pages of the title, some foxinges. A complete book of his pamphlet at the end of the first volume. Autograph signed by the son of General Dumas to Mr. Larnac at the head of the first volume.
