First edition, one of 550 numbered copies on laid paper, the only issue with 30 on Holland paper.
The text volume is illustrated with numerous in-text figures. The plate volume contains all 63 plates numbered in Roman numerals as well as its 2 color plates of stained glass windows and its general view plate of Metz Cathedral.
The slipcase is missing from our copy which is complete with all its plates, which is rare.
