Half turquoise sheep binding, smooth spine decorated with a gilt cartouche enhanced with gilt decorative motifs, minor rubbing to head caps, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, upper corners slightly bumped, original wrappers preserved, contemporary binding.
The work illustrated with an etched portrait of Verteuil by A. Lalauze as frontispiece.
Inscribed by Georges d'Heylli to the illustrator.
