The story begins with that of a mother addicted to pleasures and collecting lovers, who will take her daughter to Paris to become a courtesan. The latter will take pleasure in her state, experiencing with delight the power that her beauty gives her. Claude de Villaret, before becoming a historian, published several licentious novels including L'anti-Pamela.
