Collection of poetic pieces, known as the French Academy Collection, which notably contains two important texts by Charles Perrault: the reprint of La Marquise de Salusses (pp. 121-172), a tale initially published in the same collection in 1691, and the second edition of La Chasse (pp. 549-578).
Contemporary binding in full speckled sheep. Spine with five raised bands decorated with gilt compartments and fleurons as well as a red morocco title label. Gilt roulette on the leading edges. All edges speckled red.
One wormhole on the spine and one corner restored.
