Composed of three distinct parts: the Thesaurus itself (itself divided into sub-parts), the Solius Virgilii (Virgiliana synonima) and Institutio poetica by Iacobi Pontani which is a treatise on poetry. The Thesaurus is essentially a lexical and semantic, metaphorical field of all terms used in Latin poetry, extracted from Latin poets; it was mainly intended for students.
