Contemporary full flamed and glazed sheep binding. Smooth spine richly decorated with two grotesque-style compartments and two other compartments with special tools, roulettes. Red morocco title label and brown morocco volume labels. Upper joint of volume 1 cracked. Headcap of volume 1 worn, and lacks to headcap of volume 2. Corners bumped.
Year by year, the work establishes the list and history, rather objectively commented, of important facts in ecclesiastical history in the 18th century, and this throughout the world. The revolutionary period is particularly interesting. The whole is very rich and diverse, containing missions in China, forbidden books as well as theological quarrels.
