First edition. Text author: Nanritei Kiraku. Printed in grey, black and flesh tones. 58 pages with a drawing or multiple figures (plants, animals, characters). Japanese accordion binding. Printed on mulberry paper. Black cover with title label in red ink. Missing one stitch at head. Black color of cover faded to grey in several places. A tear on lower cover. Good copy. Active from 1820 to 1850, Katsushika Taito (real name Beika Sanjin) was one of Hokusai's principal pupils whose name he adopted: Katsushika (the district of Edo where Hokusai was born). Like his master, he published his drawing collections. Five are known.
