A very full medical manual also including remedies by Trincavelli (1496-1568), a doctor and professor at Padua who, with Sylvius in Montpellier, was opposed to Gallien. This edition was edited by a Swedish professor of medicine, Anders Christensen (1551-1606). The manual discusses all the various infections, fractures, and the organs, as well as containing sections on purgatives and emetics.
