Elegant contemporary long-grained cherry-red morocco, spine in three compartments, double bands with gilt fillets, friezes and dots, date at foot, blindstamped roulettes to head- and tail- pieces, triple gilt fillet and gilt frieze frame to covers, upper corners slightly bumped, gilt fillets to edges of covers, pastedowns edged in cherry-red long-grained morocco with a frame of gilt dots, marbled pastedowns and endpaper, top edge gilt.
Rare autograph inscription signed by Jacques Delille.
A very good copy with almost no spotting in a handsome binding.
