    Rare and probably the only test of "Pantagruelian Tales".
    The work dates from 1903 before the addition of Jules Clarettie's preface and illustrations by Edmond Malassis.
    The text, printed in Gothic characters is included in frames foliage, different from those of the edition marketed in 1905.
    Bound in brown half morocco with corners, back with four double nerves decorated with a typographic mosaic pattern of green morocco, boards, guards and contreplats of marbled paper, gilded head, binding signed Trinckvel.
    Nice copy nicely established.
