Publisher's binding in full brown morocco. Spine with 5 raised bands in Jansenist style. Title in blind. Upper cover with a monogram composed of an L and D intertwined in chased silver, 4 small chased silver ornaments at the corners, which are found on the lower cover with a larger central ornament. Edges gilt. Wide and rich interior border. Red silk endpapers. Light rubbing to headcaps, corners and gilt. Fine scratches on the covers.
