Some minor foxing of no consequence.

Half black shagreen binding, spine with four fine raised bands decorated with double gilt compartments, frame of gilt fillet on black paper boards, some tears to leading edges, cream watered silk endpapers and pastedowns.
Work illustrated after drawings by the author as well as 15 hors-texte drawings by Calame.
Occasional light foxing affecting mainly the beginning and end of the volume.
