Half light brown sheep over marbled paper boards, spine with gilt dots and fillets and brown fillets, navy blue sheep title-label, headpieces rubbed with slight lacks, one joint cracked and repaired at head, a few scratches to joints, marbled endpapers and pastedowns.

Half sheep binding in caramel, smooth spine with some fading decorated with spirals, friezes and gilt fillets, slight rubbing to joints, reinforced corners, contemporary binding. A tiny corner loss to pages 38-39, some light foxing, marginal ink marks in the table of contents. Rare.
