Rare edition. Not held by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, French catalogues or the British Library, one copy at Oxford and one in the Hollis catalogue at Harvard (same collation) which also holds a 1506 copy and another from 1549. Title within an engraved border with the publisher's vignette.
Contemporary full vellum binding. Spine unlettered. One crease to the corners of the index leaves on several folios.
Legal treatise on patronage. Patronage was bequeathed to us by the Romans, the patron was the protector of the slave over whom he had rights, by extension it would designate any relationship between a master holding authority and an element dependent on him (cases of marriage, commercial relations...). Citadini died in 1525.
