Half marbled fawn sheep binding, smooth spine with 4 large stamps and multiple roulettes (later binding circa 1810). Title label torn, upper headcap damaged, small lack to tail, joints cracked, one tear to spine, otherwise handsome copy, very fresh internally.
The work consists of an epic in verse and in 24 cantos of the life and exploits of William I of Nassau, Prince of Orange, Stadtholder of Holland, known as William the Silent.
