Half blue calf bindings with corners, smooth spines decorated with gilt fillets forming triple compartments and large Romantic motifs stamped in gold, gilt fillet on covers, some rubbing, pastedowns and endpapers lined with marbled paper, contemporary binding.
Work illustrated with a frontispiece by Barrois in volume I and a frontispiece drawn and engraved by Langlois du-Pont-de-l'Arche in volume II.
