Fine photographic portrait of Ottorino Respighi. Photogravure-type print with pen inscription: A Mr. G. Hogge. Ottorino Respighi. In ricordo cordialissimo. Liege. 26. III. 1931. ["To Mr. G. Hogge. Ottorino Respighi. In fondest remembrance. Liege. 26. III. 1931."] Hogge was artistic director of the Liège opera.
One sheet. Portrait size: 16.1x22cm. At top a thin 0.5 cm tear with creasing. One corner at bottom of page with small creases. A small crease in left margin extending 10 cm. On verso, traces of removal in upper margin, and 2 circles at bottom. Good copy.
Ottorino Respighi was a composer, conductor and violinist. Having died in 1936, this photograph represents one of his final appearances before his death.
