    Some foxing.
    Rare gathering of these two works strongly influenced by a European colonialist vision and fiercely anti-Semitic (for the second text) then prevailing from the late 19th until the first decades of the 20th centuries.

    First edition, one of 75 copies on Holland paper, the only deluxe copies after 15 Japan paper.
    Full mustard yellow shagreen binding, spine with five raised bands set with blind fillets decorated with gilt floral motifs, gilt initials at foot, the author's name has been erroneously spelled on the spine (a "d" instead of "t" at the end of the surname) framed with gilt dentelle on boards, combed paper endpapers and pastedowns, original wrappers preserved, top edge gilt.
    At the end of the volume, two articles from Gil Blas of November 24 & 25, 1888, one by Edouard Drumont, the other concerning him, have been pasted on several leaves.
