Contemporary full red morocco binding. Smooth spine decorated with 3 compartmented fleurons, roulette at head and tail. Title and volume labels in garnet morocco. Triple fillet frame on boards. Gilt edges. Signs of rubbing, notably on three upper boards in small areas. Slight lack of leather on lower board of volume II. 2 lower corners slightly bumped.
Very handsome copy, rare in this condition, bound in 5 volumes.

Title vignette featuring the printer’s mark with a golden griffin, numerous decorative initials and woodcut headpieces throughout.

Full limp vellum binding, spine titled in manuscript, a few minor scuffs and stains to covers, traces of former ties, upper portion of th spine-end damaged.
