"What is a" rare book "? How to understand the notion of scarcity when applied to the printed book?
This is the subject of this exhibition which presents the collections of the Rare Books Reserve BnF through a hundred outstanding works from the fifteenth century to the present, chosen from those which were acquired during the last twenty years.
