This exhibition is organized by the Musée d'Orsay and the Museum of Fine Arts of Canada, Ottawa, in partnership with the National Library of France, from 18 February to 11 May 2014.
On the site of the Museum of Orsay, we can read a very beautiful portrait of "the illustrator Gustave Doré" by Valérie Sueur-Hermel "Gold does not simply beat the records of his time with outstanding productivity common, he nurtured the ambition to build an illustrator work in itself, a great library illustrated '(rest here ) and leaf through a beautiful album of his illustrations (http://expositions.bnf.fr/orsay -gustavedore / albums / index.htm).
